Terms and Conditions for Users

1. INTRODUCTION

Glass and Furniture Market Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates a digital marketplace (the “Platform”) that connects customers, vendors, and artisans for glass, furniture, and interior services.
The Platform includes:
- Website
- Mobile applications (where applicable)
- Operational systems including inspection, payment coordination, and installation support

These Terms and Conditions govern:
- All users of the Platform
- All transactions conducted through the Platform
- All services facilitated by the Platform

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a business:
- You confirm authority to bind that business
- Both you and the business are bound by these Terms
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Users must be at least 18 years old.

You agree to:

- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Be responsible for all activity under your account

- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Modify account details
- Restrict access where necessary
3. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

The Platform operates as a managed services marketplace, not just a listing platform.
3.2
We:
- Facilitate connections
- Coordinate transactions
- Manage process structure
- Provide quality control through inspection and monitoring
3.3
We are NOT:
- Direct manufacturers (except explicitly stated)
- Employers of vendors or artisans
4. SERVICE TRANSACTION FRAMEWORK
- Service Request
- Inspection & Assessment
- Quotation & Approval
- Escrow Payment
- Production / Fabrication
- Installation / Execution
- Completion Confirmation
- Payout to Vendor/Artisan
4.2
Failure to follow this process removes platform protection.
5. CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP
- Customer and Vendor/Artisan
Glass and Furniture Market Ltd acts as:
- Transaction facilitator
- Process coordinator
- Payment intermediary
We may intervene in disputes but are not the primary contracting party for execution.
6. INSPECTION POLICY
- Inspection is mandatory before execution
- Fees are non-refundable
- Covers measurement, verification, and assessment
Inspection determines pricing, scope, and timelines.
7. PAYMENT TERMS (ESCROW SYSTEM)
- All payments must be made through the Platform
- Payments are held until completion, confirmation, or dispute resolution
- Off-platform payments void protections
8. PRICING & QUOTATIONS
- Based on inspection findings
- Material specifications
- Scope of work
Prices may change due to scope, site conditions, or material cost changes.
9. VENDOR & ARTISAN OBLIGATIONS
- Deliver agreed specifications
- Maintain professionalism
- Meet timelines
- Use approved materials
- Follow platform processes
Violations may result in suspension, penalties, or removal.
10. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
- Provide accurate project details
- Grant site access
- Make timely payments
- Avoid interference with execution
11. QUALITY AND DELIVERY
- Process control is ensured, not absolute perfection
- Minor variations may occur
- Complaints must be reported within 5 days
12. RETURNS, CORRECTIONS & REFUNDS
- Returns are not standard
- Corrections or rework may be offered
- Refunds possible if work is not delivered or below standard
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Disputes must be reported within specified period
- We may investigate, mediate, and enforce actions
- Decisions are binding within platform scope
14. USER CONTENT & CONDUCT
- No false information or fraud
- No offensive or illegal content
- No bypassing the platform
15. PLATFORM USAGE RESTRICTIONS
- No hacking or disruption
- No scraping or bots
- No exploitation of platform data
16. DATA PRIVACY
All personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
17. DUE DILIGENCE & VERIFICATION
- We may verify identity
- Request documentation
- Conduct background checks
18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- No liability for indirect losses
- No liability for delays beyond control
- No liability for misconduct outside platform process
Liability is limited to transaction value.
19. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify us against losses arising from misuse or breach of these Terms.
20. TERMINATION
- We may suspend or terminate accounts
- Restrict access
- Take legal action
21. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
22. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
